Turkey becomes leader of OECD in terms of fastest growing economy

Through a good economic performance, except the years 2008 and 2009 during which the most intense global crisis was experienced over the last decade, Turkey was the fastest growing country among OECD countries. According to figures of OECD, the world economy will develop by 3.5 percent, OEDC countries will grow by 1.7 percent and average development rate of Turkish economy will be realized as 5.1 percent. Furthermore, Turkey ranks the first on the basis of a separate analysis of OECD countries in terms of growth. In the last decade, Turkey was followed by Chile with a growth rate of 4.8 percent. Slovakia and Poland follow Chile in the categorization.
