Turkey to take on CICA presidency

Turkey is preparing to take on the term presidency of the Conference on Interactions and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA). Foreign Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Unal Cevikoz said that Turkey would take over CICA's helm from Kazakhstan this June, marking the first time that the organization, which was initiated by the Central Asian nation, would be chaired by another country.
