Turkish Justice Ministry awarded by UN

Turkish Justice Ministry has been presented with the prestigious "United Nations Public Service Award" in two different categories. A statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry said yesterday that Justice Ministry's SMS Information System has been ranked the first in Western Asia in Preventing and Combating Corruption in the Public Service category, while its National Judiciary Informatics System (UYAP) has been ranked the second in Advancing Knowledge Management in Government category. The statement added that Turkey has been presented with such award for the first time and the award ceremony would be held in New York on June 25.
