UNICEF and Kizilay sign cooperation protocol

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has signed a partnership protocol with the Turkish Red Crescent Aid Society (Kizilay) as part of the Syrian humanitarian aid operation. Speaking at the signature ceremony, Chairman of Kizilay Ahmet Lutfi Akar said, "From now on, we will continue to exert efforts to provide a more systematic and conscious strength with the support of UNICEF, European Commission and other partners." For his part, UNICEF Turkey Representative Ayman Abulaban said that he was proud to have signed a protocol with Kizilay.
