50.000 Syrians find refuge in Turkey
Some 3,500 people crossed into Turkey in the past two days to escape the escalating violence in Syria. As a result of clashes near the historic city center of Aleppo, there has been a marked increase in the number of refugees fleeing to Turkey in the past two days. The number of refugees finding refuge in Turkey has reached approximately 50,000. Reportedly, this number includes 37 high-ranking military personnel as well. As a result, Turkey has initiated efforts to set up new camps for refugees. The news camps are set to be established in Kahramanmaras, Osmaniye and Nizip.
