54 countries to meet at Bosporus

The 4th Bosporus Summit of the International Cooperation Platform will be held on November 20-22 in Istanbul. The summit which is set to host politicians, businesspeople and academics from 54 countries will be inaugurated by President Abdullah Gul. This year's theme at the summit was identified as the Middle-East and North Africa (MENA) in Sustainable Global Competition. Speaking at a meeting to promote the summit, Chairman of the Board of Exporters Mehmet Buyukeksi said that Turkey's exports to the MENA region increased by 11 folds, rising from $4.7 million to $51.8 million.
