Abdel Aziz in Ankara on first-ever Mauritanian presidential visit to Turkey

Islamic Republic of Mauritania President Gen. Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz yesterday arrived in Ankara for an official visit at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul. His three-day stay will include a meeting Gul, during which the two will discuss relations between Mauritania and Turkey. Abdel Aziz is the first-ever Mauritanian president to visit Turkey, according to the Presidential Press Office.
