Allawi received by Davutoglu, Gul

Iyad Allawi, head of the Iraqiya coalition and former Iraqi Prime Minister, was received by Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu at a work breakfast yesterday. Reportedly, Allawi conveyed his views to Davutoglu with regard to the situation in Iraq and Davutoglu informed Allawi on Turkey's assessments about its neighbor, stressing that Turkey favors the establishment of a stable atmosphere in the constitutional system of Iraq. Allawi and the accompanying delegation were also received by President Abdullah Gul at the Cankaya Presidential Palace yesterday. The meeting was closed to the press.
