Ambassador Ricciardone lobbying to encourage American investors to come to Turkey US

Ambassador Francis Riccardione has been lobbying for Turkey in the US. Riccardione who traveled to the US last week asked giant companies to turn to Turkey, saying that there is lot of potential there. Accordingly, 35 companies operating in automotive, finance and energy sectors, agreed to see investment opportunity closely in Turkey. Speaking to the Aksam daily, Michael Lally, US Councilor for Commercial Affairs in Turkey, said, "The companies operating in defense and aviation sectors will come to Turkey and seek investment opportunity in December". Indicating that Turkish students are interested in attending universities in the US, Lally said, "An education committee is set to visit Turkey in January 2013," adding, "We see lot of potential in automotive sector. The European market is very important as well. Turkey's economy enjoys a growth potential in the region." Lally said.
