Bagis attends reception to mark Europe Day in Ankara

Turkey's Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis yesterday attended the Europe Day Reception hosted by Jean-Maurice Ripert, the EU's ambassador to Turkey. Prior to reception, Bagis also commented on four students who have received prizes, saying, "Our dreams are still fresh. It is more important for us to make our children's dreams come true than becoming an EU member." Referring to the economic crisis suffered by the EU, Bagis said, "Don't worry about the economic crisis, we are coming there to rescue! Hold tight, Turkey and EU will make a great match together."
