Bagis hands out lags symbolizing Turkey's EU bid in northeastern Greece

State Minister Egemen Bagis, Turkey's chief negotiator for EU talks, on Sunday gave out flags symbolizing Turkey's EU membership process during a personal visit to Gumulcine (Komotini) in the Western Thrace region of northeastern Greece. "Some of you might have been curious about the flags that have been distributed," Bagis said at a banquet hosted by the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Consultative Board in honor of Bagis, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's wife Emine Erdogan, and an accompanying delegation.
