Bagis receives TUSIAD delegation

Turkey’s Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis received the executive board members of Association of Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen (TUSIAD) on Wednesday in Ankara. Speaking on the sidelines of the visit, Bagis hailed TUSIAD's contribution to Turkey's accession process to the EU, saying, "We consider the ministry for EU as the Republic of Turkey's idea, reform and democracy factory. Feeling the support of non-governmental organizations such as TUSIAD while making Turkey ready for EU standards and working to change EU countries' perception of Turkey is very pleasing." Bagis added that those kinds of support from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) reinforce their enthusiasm.
