Masoud Barzani, president of the Kurdish region in Iraq, will pay an official visit to Turkey on November 3-5. Barzani is scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Nov. 3 and then received by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Nov. 5 in Istanbul. Reportedly, Ankara will request Barzani to make efforts to end the Bashar al-Assad government in Syria, keep quiet about surgical strikes aimed at halting the presence of terrorist PPK on the border and provide the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) with intelligence and logistic support. Besides, a road map will be determined with regard to joint efforts on these issues.
