BCCT chairman hails Turkish coffee
British Chamber of Commerce of Turkey Chairman Jonathan Beard said that leading food and beverage companies from Turkey has been welcomed with great interest by Britain. Beard said that he has preferred to have a cup of coffee at Kahve Dunyasi (Coffee World) and the only problem was that the place was full of British customers and he had to remain standing. Speaking for his part, British Consul General in Istanbul Leigh Turner said that they were open to different tastes and experiences and making efforts to help Turkish companies’ investment and partnership plans. "We are facing a quite successful example such as Kahve Dunyasi. We believe that new Turkish brands would be brought to Britain," Turner noted.
