Bratin eyes role in constructing third bridge over Bosporus

Visiting Turkey yesterday, Michael Bear, lord mayor of the city of London, said his talks will focus on ways of doubling trade between Turkey and Britain. On Turkey's plans to build a third bridge over the Bosporus, Bear said Britain hopes to play a part in its construction. "As Britain enjoys good engineers and designers, Turkey boasts the best contractors," he said. "This makes me think that we can forge a good cooperation on this project." Bear added that he once worked in Turkey, and knows the country very well.
