Brussels pleased with Erdogan's visit to Germany

Peter Stano, spokesman for EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule, said that they were pleased to hear Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's statement that Turkey continues to remain committed to its membership goal. Speaking to reporters in a press conference, Stano said the commission attached great importance to the revival of accession negotiations and that the commission would continue to support 'the positive agenda' which was launched last May to add a fresh momentum to the membership process.
