Celik visits Budapest

Culture and Tourism Minister Omer Celik visited the Hungarian capital Budapest to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Yunus Emre Institute office. Stating that Turkey and Hungary share common historical ties, Celik said, "Yunus Emre Institute is considered as the backbone of the cultural and public diplomacy of the country." Celik also visited the grave of Gul Baba, a Bektashi leader who has participated in the battles in Europe back in the days of Ottoman Empire and deceased in 1541, along with the Esztergom fortress and other monumental structures remaining intact as the legacy of the Ottoman Empire
