Cevik in Tehran to have talks with Salehi

Foreign Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Halit Cevik traveled to Tehran to have talks with Iranian officials with regard to the violence in Syria and political consultations between the two countries. As part of his contacts, Cevik was received by Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi. Diplomatic sources said that Cevik and Salehi have mainly discussed the Syria issue, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries and Iran’s nuclear program. Furthermore, Cevik informed Salehi on Ankara's stance on the issue.
