Cicek meets parliament speaker of Oman

Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek yesterday received Parliament Speaker Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali of Oman at the Parliament in Ankara on Monday. Speaking at a press conference following the meeting, Cicek said, "The geography that we are sharing is unfortunately is not very peaceful. I'm afraid we don't like this, but there are some problems in that region where people have sufferings.  This situation requires the countries to be stronger in the field of defense. As a result, the defense industry is one of the fields in which we can cooperate."
