Cicek: The number of international flights from Ankara to rise

The number of direct flights from Ankara to international destinations will increase; State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Cicek said on Thursday in an event organized by the Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO). “The number of passengers coming to Ankara via airways rises above 1 million in 2010,” he said. Cicek also talked about the plans to make Ankara a more accessible destination and added that ASO is working with other relevant parties to prepare an action plan on further easing access to the city.
