Davutoglu, Atalay in China for official talks

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Interior Minister Besir Atalay yesterday left for China for separate official visits at the respective invitations of Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and Public Security Minister Meng Jianzhu. Accompanied by a delegation of deputies, bureaucrats, businesspeople, academics and reporters, Davutoglu will hold talks in Kashgar, Urumqi, Jian, Shanghai and the capital Beijing during his six-day China visit. As part of his four-day visit to China, Atalay will hold talks with Meng on improving bilateral cooperation and coordination in the fight against organized crime, illegal migration, trafficking, trans-border crime, cyber-crime, and separatist terrorism. Atalay and Meng are also expected to sign a security cooperation protocol. Atalay will also meet with Zhou Yongkang, the member of the Central Committee of the People's Republic of China responsible for security units and intelligence.
