Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met yesterday with representatives of the Syrian National Council (SNC) at the opening of the 21st International Congress of Muslim Communities which was organized by the Research Center for Economic and Social Researches in Istanbul. During the meeting, Davutoglu conveyed his condolences to council members for the massacre of 92 people over the weekend, and the delegation informed him on the situation in Syria and violation of human rights in their country.  "It would be inconsistent to want democracy for Egyptians but not for Syrians," Davutoglu said. He added that Turkey wanted Syria to have what we wanted for itself and all Muslims in the world to have the same.
