Davutoglu: Turkey's EU process is a road of no return

Speaking to Germany's Focus magazine, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that EU membership still had a strategic importance for Turkey. Stating that Turkey's EU process is a road of no return, Davutoglu said that Turkey wanted support from Germany for its EU membership bid, adding, "There is a special relation between Turkey and Germany." Touching on Gezi Park incidents and the reaction of the state, Davutoglu said that this was the indication of a healthily operating democracy.
