Energy, justice ministers hail "friendship dam" for solidifying Turkish-Syrian ties

One day after helping to lay the foundations of a new Turkish-Syrian "friendship dam," Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz said the dam will help solidify the countries' friendship. Yildiz also said that an Arab natural gas pipeline will be finished this year. Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin added, "The Orontes (Asi) River will cement the friendship of Turkey and Syria. The Orontes no longer divides us, but unifies."
