After his mother Tenzile Erdogan died on Friday, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been accepting condolences. Among a great many leaders who have expressed their condolences is Israeli President Shimon Peres. Reportedly, "The passing of your beloved mother was received with much sadness," Peres wrote in a letter to Erdogan. Besides, opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader offered condolences to Erdogan in a visit to his home in Istanbul yesterday.
