Erdogan meets Kerry in Istanbul
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday held a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry at the Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul. The meeting which was closed to the press was also attended by Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. Reportedly, the Syria issue, developments following an apology offered by Israel to Turkey over the Israeli raid on Gaza-bound flotilla the Mavi Marmara in 2010 which killed nine Turks and Erdogan’s visit to Washington which is scheduled to be held on May 16 were discussed during the meeting.
