Facebook new diplomatic front for foreign ministry

Following the lead of countries such as the US, Britain, Israel and France, Turkey will begin spread its message and boost its profile using social networking sites. Namik Tan, the Foreign Ministry's new public diplomacy and communications coordinator, said that the ministry will use modern communication platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
