Five Turkish deputies elected to german parliament

In Sunday's German general elections, which ended with the victory of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) under the leadership of Angela Merkel, five deputies of Turkish origin won seats in the Bundestag, or Parliament. Serkan Toren was elected from the Free Democratic Party (FDP), Mehmet Kilic from the Greens Party, Aydan Ozdoguz from the Social Democratic Party (SPD), Ekin Deligoz from the Greens, and Sevim Dagdelen from the Left Party.
