Gul holds tripartie summit with Ahmadinejad and Morsi

President Abdullah Gul, who is in Cairo to attend a summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held a tripartite summit with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi on Wednesday. During the summit which lasted for one hour the leaders discussed and exchanged information on the Syria issue. The summit was also attended by foreign ministers of the three countries. Reportedly, Gul also met with Ahmed Muaz al-Khatib, chairman of the National Coalition ForcesoftheSyrian Revolution. Gul also separately met with Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Dervis Eroglu and his Maldivian counterpart Mohamed Nasheed.
