Gul receives Cicek, Erdogan, Atalay and Ozel

President Abdullah Gul yesterday received Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek who was reelected re-elected by members of the Turkish Parliament as speaker for the legislative body. Afterwards, Gul received Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay, and then met with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Chief of General Staff Full General Necdet Ozel and separately with Turkish Intelligence Organization (MIT) Undersecretary Hakan Fidan. All of these meetings were closed to the press. Gul also attended the ceremony of the 93rd anniversary of the Presidential Guard Regiment during which the handover ceremony was also held.
