Gul urges contractors not to over-focus on North Africa, pointing to ooportunities further south

President Abdullah Gul yesterday received Emin Sazak, chairman of the Turkish Contractors Association (TCA), and a delegation at the Cankaya Presidential Palace. Responding to the contractors' complaints over letters of guarantee they gave for their ventures in war-torn Libya, Gul advised, "Don't just focus on the north. There are (also) opportunities in Nigeria and Gabon." The contractors also asked for a solution for the compensation of their losses in Libya.
