High level working commission to be established between Turkey and US

Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan on Thursday said that Turkey and the US agreed on establishing a High Level Working Commission to liberalize trade between the two countries. In a written statement released on Thursday, Caglayan said that the decision to establish the working commission was made as part of talks between Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Barack Obama in Washington on Thursday. Caglayan added that the commission would evaluate the impact of a possible Transatlantic Trade and Investment Cooperation Agreement between the US and the EU on Turkey and would work to boost economic relations between Turkey and the US.
