ILO report praises Turkey

The 9th European Regional Meeting of the International Labor Organization (ILO) was held in Oslo. As part of the meeting in which Turkey was represented by Minister of Labor and Social Security Faruk Celik, a report titled "Jobs, growth and social justice" was released. According to the report, "Turkey managed to reduce unemployment rates significantly." The report also indicates the following: "Turkey nearly tripled its research and development spending, from US$2 billion to US$8.8 billion between 2003 and 2009."
