İn Muscat, Gul calls on Omani businessmen to invest in Turkey

President Abdullah Gul yesterday attended the Turkish-Omani Business Forum held at Muscat's Shangari La Bandar Hotel. At the forum, Gul stated that the two countries enjoy broad agreement on political issues. "There are no problems between Turkey and Oman and we strongly endorse each other's policies," he added. "These are peaceful policies. Turkey is a country which spreads peace, stability, security and tranquility around itself." Gul also called on Omani businessmen to invest in Turkey. In related news, Gul's wife Hayrunnisa visited a local school where students put on a music and dance performance for her. Afterwards, the first couple had a yacht cruise and visited the Zubair Museum.
