Following his meeting yesterday with EU Commissioner for Enlargement Stefan Fuele and European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told a press conference that Bosnian-Herzegovinian President Haris Sladjzic and Serbian President Boris Tadic will attend a summit in Istanbul on Saturday held under the auspices of President Abdullah Gul. At the summit an important step will be taken for the Balkans, he said. The two presidents will reportedly meet for the first time since the breakup of Yugoslavia to discuss their countries. In this respect this summit is very important, said a Foreign Ministry official.
