Istanbul state theater play receives awards in Macedonia

Istanbul State Theater's modern production of the ancient Greek tragedy "Antigone," translated by Sabahattin Ali into Turkish and adapted and directed by Kenan Isik, on Monday received the best performance and best director awards at the 11th International Festival of Antique Drama "STOBI 2012" in Macedonia. The festival ran July 14-29 in the historic town of Stobi, south of the city of Veles.
