Istanbul to host an international conference on population and development

The 5th International Parliamentarians' Conference on the Implementation of the ICPD Programme of Action on Population and Development will be held in Istanbul on May 24-25. Touching upon the conference, Oznur Calik, Chair of the Parliamentary Group on Population and Development, and Justice and Development Party (AKP) deputy to Malatya, said that the conference to be attended by approximately 500 speakers would focus on women’s and children’s health on the highest level.
