As high-level nuclear talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 failed to yield result, Catherine Ashton,EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, announced yesterday that the new talks over Iran’s nuclear energy ambitions would be held in Istanbul on July 3. "We expect Iran to decide whether it is willing to make diplomacy work," Ashton said. Chief Iranian Nuclear Negotiator Saeed Jalili described the talks held in Moscow "more serious and more realistic" than the rounds which were held earlier this year. Jelili reiterated that Iran still wanted to enrich uranium to 20 percent.
