Joint annual conference of DEIK and taik to be held in june

Speaking at a press conference which was organized ahead of the 31st Joint Annual Conference to be held on June 10-13, Kursat Ozkan, Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and Turkish-American Business Council (TAIK), said yesterday that the energy issue would be discussed in detail during the conference. For his part, TAIK Chairman Haluk Dincer said that Turkey and the US have been enjoying a golden age in their relations, which are quite special. Dincer added that improvement of relations between the two countries derives from two reasons, namely, Turkey has emergence as a model country during the Arab Spring and the US has realized that it would be unable to take the right steps in the region without Turkey.
