Larijani: "Iran supports the proposals by Turkey and Brazil to solve the nuclear controversy"

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, attending an Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Parliamentary Union meeting in Istanbul, yesterday said Tehran supports recent proposals by Turkey and Brazil to solve the controversy over Iran's nuclear program. "We don't trust the US, because it's our enemy," Larijani told Star daily. "But Turkey is our friend, neighbor and brother. It has developed initiatives on many issues due to its regional position. We meet with Turkish officials at every stage. We support the government's efforts to the utmost."
