Military barracks to be moved from large proviences

Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz announced on Sunday that military barracks across Turkey will be moved from large provinces to sparsely populated ones. Chief of General Staff has been working on a master plan they believe will help decrease the development lag in rural provinces. Officials from the Environment and Urbanization Ministry say that they want to use military barracks in large provinces for the household needs of people.
