Nato's Rasnussen: İmproved Turkish-Armenian relations would promote stability in the region

NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen yesterday said that he believed improved Turkish-Armenian relations would contribute to stability and security in the region. In related news, European Union Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn said that he hoped that Ankara's Kurdish initiative would yield results and that the Kurdish issue would be covered in next month's EU progress report on Turkey.
