New award to Nuri Bilge Ceylan

Association of Cinema Directors and Producers in France will present director Nuri Bilge Ceylan with the 2012 "Carossee d'or" award. Ceylan will receive his award on May 17 at the Cannes Film Festival. Prior to the award ceremony, Ceylan's film "Clouds of May" which helped him be known in France and Europe will be shown. The award has been presented, since the “15 Directors” section has been launched in 2002 under Cannes Film Festival. Jafar Panahi, Nanni Moretti, Jim Jarmusch and Clint Eastwood are among the directors who have previously received the award.
