Newly elected Libyan PM grateful to Turkey

Abdurrahim al-Keib, the newly elected Prime Minister of Libya's Interim National Transition Council, said yesterday that they would establish a cabinet consisting of technocrats and expressed their willingness to become a positive power in world politics. Al-Keib said that both the Turkish government and Turkish people have always stood in solidarity with Libyan people, adding, "We wrote this situation to our hearts and history books will write this as well." Stressing the importance of relations between Turkey and Libya, al-Keib said, "We greatly respect both the Turkish government and Turkish people."
