Palestinian president Abbas visits Turkey

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who arrived in Ankara yesterday, had a meeting with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the meeting, issues such as the allegations that Abbas' saying "We support Greek Cypriot's thesis on the Cyprus issue," and the Palestine-Israeli dispute were reportedly discussed. Erdogan hosted a working luncheon for Abbas, where Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu also attended. Abbas is expected to meet with President Abdullah Gul today.
