Pentagon defines downing od Turkish jet as deliberate

Spokesperson for the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) George Little said that the downing of a Turkish military jet by Syria showed once more the illegitimacy of the acts of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime. Little added in a daily press briefing that Syria’s act on Friday in downing the Turkish military jet was very defiant and bothersome. Meanwhile, another Pentagon Spokesperson John Kirby, in response to a question, said, "The fact is that it was shot down. We believe it was a deliberate act." Speaking for his part, US Ambassador to Ankara Francis Ricciardone defined the downing of Turkish jet by Syria as "brazen and unacceptable."
