Pera International Piano Festival to host world-famous musicians

The Pera International Piano Festival, organized by Pera Fine Arts High School in Turkey, began with a concert by world-famous Turkish classical pianist Idil Biret at Istanbul's Is Sanat Culture Center on May 6. The festival is set to run until May 12 and host hundreds of young pianists and music masters from Turkey and abroad. Pianists Aldo Ragone from Italy, Tamara Poddubnaya from the US and Anto Bayram Karamenderes from Bulgaria are among the lineup of pianists taking part in the event.
