PM discusses Syria, Egypt issues with Merkel and Ayrault

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has held phone calls yesterday with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault. They discussed recent developments in Syria and Egypt, stressing that international community must do its share if the situation deteriorated in Syria and that returning to democracy in Egypt was of great importance. Erdogan and Merkel agreed to take up the issues in further detail during the G-20 Summit in St. Petersburg in September.
