PM expresses condolences to Obama
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sent a message of condolence to the US President Barack Obama for the victims of Boston Marathon bombings. "I have learned with sorrow that 3 people were killed and many more were injured at the bombings taking place during the Boston Marathon. We strongly condemn this act and deeply share your grief. Turkey stands by the United States of America in this grieving day. On behalf of myself, my nation and government I convey my sincere condolences to the families of those losing their lives during this tragic incident and to all American people. I wish quick healing," Erdogan said in a message he wrote to Obama. Explosions near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on April 15 killed three people and wounded more than 140 people.
