President of Tatarstan urges Turkish businessmen to invest in his country
Rustam Minnihanov, President of Tatarstan, yesterday urged the Turkish businessmen to invest in his country in a meeting which was hosted by the Bursa Entrepreneurs and Businessmen Association (BUGIAD) in the northern province of Bursa. Speaking at the meeting, Minnihanov defined Turkey as one of the most important partners to Tatarstan. "In the past, our relations were limited to energy and construction sectors. But we are now dealing with new projects, and the most important reason for our visit to Bursa is that the district is the leading one in Turkey in terms of sub-industry sectors," Minnihanov said. Speaking for his part, BUGIAD Chairman Ali Fuat Er said that they would organize businessmen delegations from automotive, textile, agricultural products and food sectors, and exert efforts to ensure that investments and trade volume are increased and boosted in the upcoming days.
